Sensor Crash Fix was born from Sensor Tattoo Fix — the product made to restore smartwatch functions on tattooed skin.
Smartwatch optical sensors often don’t read well on tattooed skin. Sensor Tattoo Fix developed a graded lens, with model-specific material, that restores watch functions in that case.
Some people started buying the Tattoo Fix lens even without tattoos — for damaged / cracked sensors. In many cases the sensor worked again and the watch became water-resistant once more.
So we created Sensor Crash Fix: a “cousin” of Tattoo Fix — not only to restore reading on a cracked sensor, but also to restore the seal of an expensive watch.
What changes vs the Tattoo Fix lens? The Crash Fix lens is larger: it extends past the sensor glass so it can seal beyond the rim — for cracks or breaks that run all the way to the edge of the sensor. Tattoo Fix covers the reading area; Crash Fix needs to go further to reseal those edge-to-edge cracks.
